Prices start at just £1,879 per person, based on two people sharing a lower deck cabin, departing on the dates marked * above, and include return flights from Heathrow, resort transfers, and a good number of excursions. You will be escorted on the excursions by a fully qualified Egyptologist, who will spend the whole time with you during your holiday, to ensure that you can really find out about the incredibly interesting sites you will visit.

Cairo, Beni Suef, Minya, Assuit, Sohag, Qena, Denderah, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan, with the following places being visited: – the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, the Pyramid of Maydom, the rock tombs of Beni Hassan, the tombs of Tuna El Gebel, the temple of Thoth and the sanctuary of Amun, the White Monastery of Saint Pigol at Sohag, the Red Monastery of Saints Pigol and Pishoy, the Muharraq Monastery, Abydos Temple, the temple of Hathor, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, Temples of Luxor and Karnak, the temples at Edfu and Kom Ombo, the High Dam at Aswan, the Granite Quarries and the Unfinished Obelisk, the Temples of Philae, and a Felucca ride. If you cruise from Aswan to Cairo, there might be time to include visits to the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, or the Old Bazaar of Khan El Khalili, at the end of the cruise. Optional excursions, which can be purchased while onboard, include Sound & Light Shows, a Luxor city and market tour by horse drawn carriage, an evening city and market tour of Aswan, and of course the world famous Abu Simbel, which can be reached by road or air.
