Nile Cruises October 2014

If you are looking for a Nile cruise or a Nile cruise and stay holiday in October 2014, let Nile Cruises with GoCruise help find the ideal holiday for you.

We can offer a good selection of boats ranging from a 4 star up to a 5 star luxury, most of which are on a full board basis. There are also a few boats which can be booked on an All Inclusive basis, so there should be a boat and board basis to suit you. The companies we use in the main are Discover Egypt, with Alexander the Great, Royal Viking and Viking Princess, Red Sea Holidays with Grand Rose, Grand Preziosa & Grand Star, as well as Bales Worldwide with their amazing Dahabiyyas. Other companies we use include Longwood Holidays, Presidential Nile Cruises, Kuoni, Cosmos and Titan Travel etc, which offer a wide selection of boats between them.

You could add 3 nights in Cairo to make a 10 night holiday including the Nile cruise, or perhaps add a week in a hotel in Luxor or at a Red Sea resort such as El Gouna, Hurghada or Makadi Bay, to give you a 14 night holiday. While staying by the Red Sea there is the option to go diving, and you could even attain your PADI certificate while you are there. You could even take your clubs and play a few rounds of golf while you are there. On some departures you can add a short cruise on Lake Nasser as well, as this is an amazing way to see Abu Simbel, and the main boats we use are Eugenie, Kasr Ibrim & Prince Abbas. There are of course a lot more options, which we can discuss, to ensure that we find the best holiday for you.

There are usually 10 excursions included in the price of your 7 night Nile cruise and, while the selection can vary slightly from company to company, they generally include Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Temple of Karnak, Temple of Luxor, the High Dam at Aswan, Temple of Philae, Temple of Horus & Sobek at Edfu, and a ride in a traditional Felucca. Various optional excursions can be booked locally, including a sound & light show at one of the temples, a trip to Abu Simbel, a hot air balloon flight from Luxor, or you can visit the Pyramids & Sphinx if you add the Cairo hotel stay.

Flights generally depart from Gatwick on a Monday, with some dates having the option of a Manchester departure, which could be a Wednesday. If you are doing a 14 night Nile cruise and stay with Red Sea Resorts it would be a Friday departure. The 10 nights Cairo and Nile cruise, would need to be from Heathrow on a Monday or Friday.
