Dahabiyas have always been popular in the past, however Bales Worldwide no longer offer them. I am able to offer another one now, and give details below, however they do not always depart every week, and don’t operate in July or August. If you would like a quotation, or more details, contact Ian at Nile Cruises with GoCruise on 01455821770 or 08002922850. You can also add a pre or post cruise stay in Luxor, Cairo or even one of the Red Sea resorts if you wish.

For the 7 night cruise you would fly out from Heathrow to Luxor on a Monday and be transferred to your Dahabiya. Then over the next week you will sail as far as Aswan, and then back to Luxor. During that time you will be taken on a number of excursions, which will include the Temple of Kom Ombo, the Aswan High Dam, the Temples of Philae, the Temple of Luxor, the Temple of Karnak, Howard Carter’s House, the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple and the Colossi of Memnon.

Dahabiyas generally have just 6 – 8 cabins, with some doubles and some twins, all of which are air-conditioned and have private facilities. While onboard you will receive all your meals, as well as soft drinks, tea and coffee.
